About the Artist

Christine-Gayle Rios was born on July 24, 1992 in Manila, Philippines. Shortly that same year, her family moved to Oxnard, California. She spent most of her childhood there and it was then that she discovered her love of creating things through illustration.

 

In the summer of 2006, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she would attend high school and college to persue illustrative art. 

With an art degree and dumb luck, a tradeshow company in July of 2015 offered her a job prepressing graphics for a large format printing; this was the jumping off point that led to her graphic design career.

Since then, she has created designs for clothing and merch for Sin City Roller Derby and Bout Betties, as well as created her own line of stickers called Icky Stickers.

​

She is currently working as an independent graphic designer, as well as the illustrative designer for Death Drop Roller Skate Shop.
